2025 Annual Update
2025 marked another wonderful year here at Argus Farm Stop, with plenty of produce sold, new connections made, and strengthened relationships with our farmers and customers. Our farm stop model ensures local farmers receive 70% of each sale, with the remaining 30% going to Argus Farm Stop’s operation costs. Under this model, Argus Farm Stop’s total payout to farmers grew to $30 million in 2025.
With the support of a USDA grant, we were able to purchase new produce decks to better display our farmers’ beautiful fruits and vegetables, as well as a new delivery van and new refrigeration. New refrigeration helped us create space to carry fresh, ready-to-eat beef, pork, and chicken, in addition to our large frozen selection of meat products.
In 2025, we brought fresh, local produce to hundreds of customers each week via our weekly produce box subscriptions. Thanks to the support of our customers’ generous donations and local food access organizations, the price of our produce boxes remained half-off to EBT-paying customers.
Earlier this year, we hosted our third annual Farm Stop Conference, with 240 people in attendance. Since the inception of our annual conference and 1-hour webinars, we have informed over 2,000 people nationwide about the farm stop model. Over 20 farm stops are now operating across the country.
